Properties
The appearance of DKP is white crystal or amorphous white powder. It is easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, and the aqueous solution is slightly alkaline. The pH of 1% aqueous solution is 8.9. DKP has hygroscopic property, when the temperature is high, there will be self-soluble phenomenon. Its relative density is 2.44, when the temperature reaches 204℃, the molecular will dehydration into potassium pyrophosphate.
