Chemical Name: Potassium silicate
Other chemical name: Potassium polysilicate; Potassium silicate; Caswell No. 701B; EPA Pesticide Chemical Code 072606; HSDB 5798; Kasil; Kasil 6; PS 7; Potassium metasilicate; Potassium silicate solution; Potassium water glass; Pyramid 120; Silicic acid, potassium salt; Soluble potash glass; Soluble potash water glass; tetrapotassium orthosilicate
Molecular Formula: K2O-nSiO2; K2O·2.4SiO2
CAS No. : 1312-76-1
EINECS: 215-199-1
Properties
Colorless, or slightly colored transparent or translucent syrupy solution. The main source of potassium silicate products is silicon and highly soluble potassium, which can be assimilated by plants, it mainly stays in roots, leaves and bracts (inflorescence). It depositions in the plant’s bureaucratic, cell wall, cell gap and outer layer in the form of amorphous, and no longer move after deposition, no longer re-allocation.
