▏Properties
Potassium Nitrate is the only fertilizer that supplies both macro-nutrients, highest in the composition of any plant. It can be absorbed by the crop to satisfy a potassium deficiency; especially during the development of fruit and for the finishing growth for flower crops. Its melting point is 334.0℃, density is 2.11g/cm³. It is soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol and diethyl ether.

▏Application
As a solid fertilizer, 250 kg/ha are typically used. If applying potassium nitrate to avocados, approximately 50kg/ha.
