▏Properties
Copper sulfate is blue and odorless. It gives off moisture when exposed to air. Copper sulfate is classified for shipping purposes as a hazardous substance or hazardous waste. It may pose unreasonable risk to health, safety, or property, when transported. Copper sulfate is highly corrosive to plain steel, iron and galvanized pipes. The density is 2.286g/cm3. Its melting point is 110℃ and boiling point is 330℃.

▏Application
Widely used in mordant dyeing of cotton and silk, the manufacture of green and blue pigments, used as pesticides, water, fungicides, wood preservatives, leather tanning, copper electroplating, batteries, engraving and manufacturing catalyst. Used extensively for the manufacture of non-ferrous metal industries, mineral processing (flotation) of marine paint industry and other chemical raw materials.
