▏Properties
Magnesium nitrate is a hygroscopic salt with the formula Mg(NO₃)₂. In air, it quickly forms the hexahydrate with the formula Mg(NO₃)₂·6H₂O. It is very soluble in both water and ethanol. Its melting point is 89 .0℃, and boiling point is 330℃. The density is 1.64g/cm³.

▏Application method
Soil application: Direct application or Fertigation.
Crop | Dose and Timing |
Fruit trees, citrus & grapes | start in spring with 1.9-3.6 Kg/Ha. Repeat the application 3-4 times according to the deficiency. |
Vegetables& strawberries | start early in the season with 1.2-1.9Kg/Ha. Repeat every 10-15 days to reach a total dose of 19-30 Kg/Ha according to the deficiency. |
Potato | apply 3.6-6.0Kg/Ha after germination. Repeat 3-4 times according to the degree of deficiency. |
Field crops | 7.1-9.5Kg/Ha either 1 application during sowing or divided into 2-3 times. |
Ornamentals | start early in the season with 1.2-1.9Kg/Ha ; repeat as needed 2-3 times in the season. |
Foliar application:
Apply 1.2-1.9Kg/Ha n as general dose. Repeat according to crops and to the degree of deficiency.
